Guide to South Korea's e-Arrival Card Application

Apply for Korea e Arrival Card

Starting from February 2025, all foreign nationals entering South Korea must submit an electronic migration card (e-Arrival Card). In this post, we’ll walk you through the application process and the key requirements.

What Is the South Korea e-Arrival Card?

The Electronic Arrival Card for South Korea is a newly introduced mandatory electronic form for all visitors. It was created to substitute paper migration cards that all foreigners arriving in South Korea had to fill out at the airport.

With the new electronic procedure, authorities believe it will save travelers’ time, with shorter lines at immigration controls.

Who Needs the Korea Arrival Card?

All foreign visitors arriving in South Korea for short-term visits, including tourist trips, are required to submit the Korean Arrival Card within 72 hours before their arrival.

Parents must submit the Arrival Card on behalf of their children under 14 years old. It’s possible to submit group applications for families (up to 9 people).

Please note that this is a separate system from the Korea Electronic Travel Authorization (K-ETA). If you already have a valid K-ETA, you do not need to submit the Arrival Card.
